First Time Driver (D.A.T.A.)
Never had a Driver's License? All first time drivers in the State of Florida are required to take the Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness (DATA) course before applying for their license. Florida 4 Hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI & TCAC)
This is the course you need to take if you have received a ticket for running a traffic light.

If you have a Florida Driver's license OR you received a ticket in Florida, then the 4 Hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI & TCAC) course is for you! By taking the class, you will not receive any points on your record for the current violation, your insurance will not increase as long as there is no accident associated with the ticket (statute 318.14 (9)), and your safe driver status will be maintained.

Under Florida law, you may elect to attend a basic driver improvement course once in any 12-month period but no more than five times in any 10 year period. Holders of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) are not eligible to take this course per statute 318.14.

Florida 8 Hour Intermediate Driver Improvement
If the court or a judge has ordered you to take a traffic class, then the Florida 8 Hour Judge Ordered course is for you! Simply register for the course and start immediately.

Advanced Drivers Improvment Program (ADI) 12 hour
NEW to the State of Florida is the Florida Traffic School ONLINE Advanced Driver Improvement Course. Also known as ADI. Drivers who have been court-ordered or who have a suspended or revoked license may complete this twelve-hour Florida traffic school course in order to reinstate their license.

Florida Mature Driver Program
If you have a Florida Driver's License and are 55 years of age or older*, you are now eligible to complete a motor vehicle accident prevention course that will allow you to receive a mandatory reduction on your insurance rate for three years. (Florida Statute 627.0652)
